We were so hungry when we got here and the food did not disappoint. We had brisket plates and hot wings and they disappeared in minutes. The service was welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. The live music was an added bonus. Thoroughly delightful.

When you are in Savannah and looking for some amazing barbecue, the Squealing Hog BBQ is the place to go! Located downtown with a great view and even better food! The ribs are the best here! They literally just fall right off the bone with incredibly ease, the sauces are amazing and taste great as well! Jody was extremely friendly and a great cook. I can’t see anybody being unsatisfied with this meal and service. Enjoy!

To me, this was not good barbecue. I ordered the half rack of ribs and hush puppies. The ribs were very tender, but they appeared to have no rub, no seasoning - not even salt and pepper. I have had a lot of bbq and never experienced a place that put no seasoning on their ribs. The sauce was okay while the hush puppies were very good. The atmosphere didn’t appeal to me. Although it’s a sit-down restaurant, it feels more like a takeout place. You’re rung up and handed the bill right away, and that makes the experience feel rushed and transactional rather than relaxed and enjoyable. For the money I spent ($50), I expected better.

It's the best place I've been to since coming to Savannah. The owner is a awesome person. When you go there you must try the baked beans, they are to dy for and the potatoes salad is the same. Last,but not least the ribs fall off the bone. Trust me you will not want anything else.

Chris ,Taylor and Corey rolled out the red carpet for us . They open at noon , yet squeezed us in early . Their customer service is superb and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The brisket pulled pork greens, Mac and potato salad are all 5 ⭐️ Chris went out of his way to make sure we sampled the huge breakfast biscuit from next door… WITH jam. He explained all of his dishes and has a true passion for the food service industry.
